Still debating? check out our Q&A's to get a better understanding of how we operate.

Will I be given a warranty?

Absolutely, you will receive a lifetime  workmanship, and manufacturer warranty.

How much is this going to cost me?

Your only out of pocket cost is your deductible. Per Texas house bill 2102, proof that the deductible has been paid is required. This protects homeowners from being taken advantage of by "fly by night" roofing companies.

What areas do you service?

We service the entire DFW metroplex area and have crews available to even roof in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

How long will this take, and will my landscaping be protected?

Typically the install process will take a day depending on the size of the roof. Additionally, landscaping, pools, and anything of value will be covered by tarps to ensure protection.

Why are there humps on my shingles in certain areas of the roof?

When we lay the ice and water shield in the valleys, it will generally make a small, raised area on each side from the center of your roof's valley; outward about 8-10 inches from the center line. This "bump" is even more pronounced around the chimney exhaust vents due to a metal flashing being the second layer of protection added on top of ice and water barrier which raises the shingles even more.

Are you insured, and bonded?

Absolutely, all of our crews are insured to ensure that each house is covered in case of an adverse event. At the time of installation, we will provide you with a copy of our current insurance.

What manufacturer shingle can I select?

We work with all major shingle manufacturers; CertainTeed, Atlas, Owens Corning, GAF, Tamko, IKO, and more. You are free to choose whichever brand you prefer.

Why are my shingles not lying flat?

Shingles not lying flat is perfectly normal. If you look at the shingles with your project manager during the installation process; you will see a sticky or tacky area on the back of the shingles. These are called sealant strips and it takes a little time in the heat and sun to activate them, to get what is called a thermal seal. Thermal seal is where one shingle adheres  to the shingle beneath it.

Will a city permit be pulled on my house and, will my roof be built to code/city compliance?

Yes, we pull city permits where applicable and roof each house to current city, building, and manufacturer codes.

Why does the roof's deck look like it is sinking and/or raised in some areas?

The technical name for this is called deck deflection but more commonly called sumps and humps. There are a few things that can cause this, but the most common and costly is improper ventilation.

What is a non roof related leak?

In short non-roof related leaks is when your roof leaks and it has nothing to do with your new roof due to the following issues:

1. A/C overflow pan is full of water and leaking over.

2. Gutters are full of leaves and other debris causing them to overflow and push back under your shingles.

3. Cracks in the bricks and mortar in your chimney.

4. Old chimney could be rusted and leaking.

5. Cracks in your stucco walls or chimney allowing water to enter your home.

6. Walls literally pulling away from your home, commons for additions to your existing home.

7. Old skylights with unseen cracks and flashing problems.

8. Hot water heater overflow; pan full of water and overflowing in your attic.
